How do I reduce the system volume information folder size?

Windows XP : Right click My Computer and select Properties -->System Restore. ( No Screen Available )

Windows 7 : My Computer and select Properties --> Advanced system settings --> System restore ( Screen posted below

 

Windows 7 : System Protection tab

 

Highlight the
appropriate drive and click Configure tab ( below )

 Then adjust the slider to the left to decrease the amount of disk space available.
